James Bisp

James graduated from GSA Conservatoire in July 2005 with first class honours. Prior to this he trained with National Youth Music Theatre.

Theatre credits: Asher and understudy to Lee Mead in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Adelphi Theatre, West End); Jake in Edges – a New Song Cycle (Union Theatre, London); Bill Jukes in Stiles and Drewe’s Peter Pan – a Musical Adventure (West Yorkshire Playhouse); Ru in Merrily We Roll Along (Derby Playhouse); Crow in The Wizard of Oz (RSC version at West Yorkshire Playhouse); the Open Air Theatre, Regent’s Park 2006 season, playing Marcel in The Boy Friend; Peaseblossom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the Haberdasher in The Taming of the Shrew; Topper in the UK touring production of Scrooge the Musical starring Shane Richie; Airman Clarke in Into Thin Air! (New Players Theatre, London); Buddy Foster in the UK premiere production of Side Show (Yvonne Arnaud and Electric Theatre, Guildford); and PC Ping Pong in Aladdin (Yvonne Arnaud, Guildford). James had the honour of performing at the Queen’s private 80th birthday celebrations at Windsor Castle and has been involved in numerous workshops for new musicals.
