Sue Appleby

Sue graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama with distinction and has a first class degree in music and drama from the University of Birmingham.

Acting credits include: Bobbie Ellis in the number one tour of Losing Louis (dir Robin LeFevre); Belle Moffat (also covered/played Jo March) in Little Women (Duchess Theatre, West End); Just Sitting (Pleasance Theatre, London) and the role of Lady Macbeth (Globe Theatre, London). She has also played the lead in the romantic comedy short film Edible (Thirsty Productions) and the supporting lead in Quatzalan Productions’ short Friends Pictured Within.

Musical theatre credits include: Manhattan Nights (UK number one tour) and Lunchbox Musicals (Bridewell Theatre). Sue can be heard on the original cast recording of Tony Blair—The Musical, playing Tessa Jowell amongst others.

She has recently been working on a new musical, EDSA, for the ROH. Also an accomplished singing teacher, Sue has worked as singing coach for Little Women (Duchess) and Cool Hand Luke (Garrick) for Novel Theatre. www.sueappleby.com
