Emily started her career as a two-week old, in the BBC’s Bonnie Bird. 23 years later she gained a BA hons degree in Music and Drama from Hull University. She then completed the postgraduate musical theatre course at the Guildford School of Acting, from where she graduated in July 2007. Whilst training, parts played include Joan in a new musical Bluebirds, Judy in A Chorus Line, Siobhan and Aisling in the premiere of a new Irish musical, The Gathering Storm, Frederika in A Little Night Music, Fromme in Assassins, Wendy in the musical Tinkerbell and Miranda in Return to the Forbidden Planet. Professional experience includes the national tour of What If It Rains? for Quantum Theatre Company, playing the part of Tilly, Up ‘n Under at Hull Truck Theatre directed by John Godber and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, a new writing Anguish of Hercules.
