Alex Taylor

Alex trained at Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts and since graduating has worked with the Princess Cruise Line’s musical theatre team, touring throughout the world. He has toured extensively with Spirit of the Dance and was involved in the charity concert Michael Jackson and Friends in Korea and Germany before returning as a principal dancer for Spirit’s European tour.

Alex’s theatre credits include: 42nd Street (1999 and 2000 UK tour); Phaedra in La Cage aux Folles (Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton and UK tour 2001); Summer Follies 2002 (West Cliff Theatre, Clacton-on-Sea); Hollywood Heaven (Jersey Opera House 2003); All That Jazz (UK tour) and performed in America in The Spirit of Christmas. In 2007 Alex appeared in the hugely successful revival of 42nd Street in an extensive tour throughout the UK.

Alex loves pantomime and has appeared in productions such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Aladdin, Cinderella, Dick Whittington, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty and Peter Pan.

In 2008 Alex was touring with Hello, Dolly! throughout the UK and also appeared in the production of The Wizard of Oz (Theatre Royal, Brighton) for the Christmas season.
