Ashley Nottingham

Born and raised in Coventry, Ashley trained at the London Studio Centre, graduating with a BA honours degree in Theatre Dance and a Class A teaching qualification in ISTD.

Theatre credits include: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast 2006 (UK tour), playing the Cheese Grater, stunt Beast and understudied Lumiere, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for First Family Entertainment (Milton Keynes Theatre), Jazz Dance Company 2005 directed by Petra Siniawski (UK tour) and for this was honoured with the Vic Ray award for outstanding tap dance. Prior to this, Ashley performed in the Raymond Gubbay Classical Spectacular (Royal Albert Hall), This Is the Night (Richmond Theatre) and has represented Great Britain with the Encore Formation Ballroom team dancing in the World Formation Ballroom Championships (Poland). Television work: Top of the Pops, Alistair McGowan’s EastEnders Christmas Special and pop videos for Ultrabeat and the Love Bites.

Ashley is thrilled to be in 42nd Street fulfilling a life-long ambition playing his favourite role Billy Lawlor. Ashley wants to thank his family and friends for their continued love and support and dedicate his performance to the memory of his dad George.
