London Gala Orchestra with Paul Potts

On Saturday evening the London Gala Orchestra play a programme including all the traditional Last Night of the Proms favourites, conducted once again by Stephen Bell and featuring Special Guest Paul Potts (left), winner of ITV1's "Britain's Got Talent", who is currently on a UK and World Tour.

The programme (to be announced) will include all of your Proms favourites including Land of Hope & Glory, Rule Britannia, Fantasy on British Sea Songs, and of course Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture with fantastic fireworks and cannon finale.

Here and Now - The Very Best of the 80s

The Here And Now Tour concerts are the most successful high profile of all 80s concerts. The first tour took place in November 2001 and featured Paul Young, Kim Wilde, Curiosity Killed The Cat, Nick Heyward, Heaven 17, Go West & T’Pau.

Since then there has been 5 further UK tours as well as tours of Australia, Japan & Europe and the Summer 2007 saw the staging of 17 huge outdoor shows that sold out country wide. The next UK arena tour will take place in May 2008 with yet another line-up that will have fans singing and dancing in the aisles.

Many of the acts reformed or took to the stage for the first time in years to perform at arenas for this unique event

Here And Now is a nonstop show of hits, with one artiste performing immediately after the other, so far over 30 artistes have been involved in this 80s pop extravaganza, and we are delighted to welcome this huge event to the Stansted Park Proms.
