Now in its sixth year and we are delighted to extend the event to two nights. Saturday night is our traditional ‘Last Night of the Proms’ concert, with all your Proms favourites and with a special emphasis in the programme to commemorate Her Majesty the Queen’s Golden Jubilee. We are delighted to welcome back the London Gala Orchestra who proved so popular last year under the direction of conductor Stephen Bell, with guest soprano Naomi Harvey from the Welsh National Opera. On Sunday we are pleased to present an evening of unbridled nostalgia with the ‘Bootleg Beatles’ and ‘Counterfeit Stones’. Both nights feature our spectacular fireworks finales.
