Aspects of Dance

Starring Wayne Sleep and featuring guest artists from the City Ballet of London

Wayne Sleep has brought together a full company of virtuoso artists to fill the stage with an irresistible programme of dance, ranging from the best classical ballet to the excitement of musical choreography at it’s most dynamic.

Following the enormous success of their World of Classical Ballet starring Wayne Sleep, UK Productions are delighted to present aspects of dance once again starring the inimitable Wayne Sleep, but this time with the addition of the very exciting and vibrant City Ballet of London.

Wayne Sleep hailed by Dame Ninette de Valois, founder of the Royal Ballet, as “The greatest virtuoso dancer the Royal Ballet has ever produced” joins dance forces with the ballet company which the Sunday Telegraph described as conveying “all the charm and vigour of youth, of idealism shining out in a naughty world”.

During his career which spans 30 years, Wayne Sleep is one of the few dancers to successfully bridge the gulf between all dance techniques from classical to contemporary including jazz and tap, and through aspects of dance he will display the full spectrum of his and the companies talents.

Aspects of Dance is presented in three acts and consists of a selection of highlights from such classics as Giselle, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and Flower Festival, plus Wayne’s own unique interpretation of tap, jazz, and modern dance forms, including sand dance and ice skating (Torvil & Dean)!

Awarded an OBE for his contribution to the arts Wayne Sleep will provide audiences with an unforgettable and unique evening.
