Richard was a member of the National Youth Theatre of Wales from 1992-95 and trained at the Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
He is a fluent Welsh speaker and has worked extensively in his mother tongue, most notably playing the part of ‘Dylan’ in Iechyd Da on TV. His other screen credits include ‘Huw’ in Eastenders, The Bench, Treflan and he has played ‘Philip Parrry’ in two series of HTV’s Nuts & Bolts.
Richard has appeared in several seasons at Theatr Clwyd, played ‘Vincent’ in Small Change at the Haymarket Theatre Basingstoke and has also enjoyed huge siccess in panto – playing Buttons in Cinderella at the Hackney Empire and ‘Wishee Washee’ in Aladdin at the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl.
