David Birch - Mac/Ensemble

David trained at Bodywork dance studios in Cambridge where he graduated with a national diploma in musical theatre. Since the age of 16, David has played many parts ranging from ensemble to leading roles in a variety of shows: Mowgli in The Jungle Book, Eddie Johnson in The Young Ones on Summer Holiday, Peter Pan in Peter Pan, Buttons in Cinderella and others including The Wizard of Oz, Dick Whittington and Jason and the Argonauts and has just returned from his second visit performing in Peter Pan. In the past year has David performed in the number one UK tour of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers where he played Jeb/understudy Gideon. In the same show David made his debut in the West End at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket where he played Gideon. Corporate credits include backing singing for Westlife in the Royal Variety Performance in 1999 and dancer in the film Sylvia starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Daniel Craig in 2002/03 as well as dancing in the Charles Worthington section of L'Oreal hair show awards 2005. David is very much looking forward to taking part in this tour of 42nd Street.
